One think we have noticed from living outside London is that the Police have more time to chase motorists. They often set up roadside vehicle checks and speed traps, unlike the city, where they are too busy dealing with major crimes. Mum says she has to concentrate on keeping her speed down, which was certainly not a problem when driving in London traffic jams. Dad has an inbuilt radar detector in his GPS system, and it bleeps when there is a camera nearby so he is quite safe.
