Kennel Cough Treatment

Five days after the operation, Mum decided I definitely had Kennel Cough. If your dog is still coughing after a few days you need to go to the vet. In the meantime, a small dose of Pholcodine linctus on a piece of bread helps relieve the dry cough. I am staying away from other dogs for a few days cos we don’t want to create a local epidemic!

Poor Kevin! My poodle friends got kennel cough last year. Their mummy was really worried as one of them is 15 years old. They sounded funny, but soon got better. It’s too cold to go out to play anyway, so just stay snhuggled up with mum & dad.

Thanks, guys, your messages really cheered me up. I am sleeping by the Aga most of the day and Dad only takes me for a really short evening walk as it is cold.

Hey Kevin, did you get snow? We got lots, check out my blog.

Hope you are able to have a quick play in it. Probably not good to be out with cough, poor Kevin.

Poor old Kev. I’ve heard that having LOTS of treats helps a cough. Well, you can try telling your people that and see what they say.
Keep in the warm, and just visit us dogs on our blogs rather than going out in that cold white stuff too much.
    Get well soon.
