I must let you know we discovered a very nice new pub where dogs are welcome today. We went to Climping in East Sussex, which is a very pretty little hamlet with a fab Gothic fantasy hotel, a great uncommercialised beach and a very smart pub. The Pub is called the Black Horse: we asked if I could come in and they made me welcome. When we got inside there was a very nice Cocker Spaniel sitting with his family while they ate lunch.
