My new favourite pub for Dogs

Last night Mum and Dad wanted to go out, and they did not want to leave me alone at home. They decided to go to the Maid of Muswell, a pub that has a big outside area, and the weather was quite warm in the evening. When Dad went inside to order the drinks, the manager said that I could go inside - Mum was very pleased because she feels the cold! The policy at this pub is that well behaved dogs are welcome, so I did not bark at all: I just sat under the table and ate most of Mum’s chips with a few sausage treats. The Maid of Muswell is now on our list of regular favourite doggie pubs.

Kevin the Collie Birthday

Hey! Today is the second anniversary of the day I came home from the rescue centre with my new Mum and Dad. I have had loads of birthday wishes from doggie and human friends all day. It was really sunny this morning so we went to Alexandra Park and Mum was not phased when I got really, really muddy. I met some really nice dogs including Sally, a very attractive Lurcher - Collie cross with a diamond studded collar. Hmm, hope I see her again. I think I am having a party tonight, fingers crossed.

Snow Dog in Muswell Hill

Last night we had LOADS of snow, it is about six inches deep and everywhere is really quiet cos nobody is going out - including this sick dog, if I had my way. Mum tried to take me for a walk this morning, she went out in front of me to try and take a photos I came down the road. Big mistake - I just turned round and went home! Well I have got Kennel Cough, you know …

Kevin the Collie Abandoned Again

At the end of last week Dad worked from home because his car had broken down. We had to take it to the garage - and walk back to collect it the next day. Dad was a bit annoyed that the people at the garage did not remember him, but they asked “are you the guy with the cute dog”. Well I can’t help it, can I?

Samoyed Dogs in Muswell Hill

I realized I had not posted a picture of my handsome new friend, Sammy the Samoyed. We met in our favourite dog friendly pub a couple of weeks ago. You might remember that Mum and Dad were quite taken with Sammy, do you think I look a little bit jealous?

Muswell Hill Dogs

Last night we went to my favourite dog friendly pub. Dad threatened to leave me at home cos I was barking but in the end we all went out together. Of course, I know the way to the Royal Oak, and as soon as we walk in that direction I get more and more excited. Last night I was the only dog there so I gave a few woofs to introduce myself. I asked a man to give me his cheese roll but he wasn’t playing ball. Then the landlord came across with some corned beef as my treat: Mum thought that was a good idea - ‘meat is much better than crisps for a dog’. Oh Yeah? I’ll have both!
