More Traffic to My Blog

I am meeting loads of clever bloggers as I make myself known on the blogosphere. I have a profile at mybloglog, you can see my widget on the left hand side – I called it ‘recent woofs’. I enjoy seeing who has visited and checking out their blogs too. When I log in I get all sorts of information about my visitors and where they have come from. People say there are some famous bloggers at mybloglog: well, I’m there, anyway.

Dog Friendly Hampstead

Another fun afternoon in Hampstead, where we can all visit or favourite places and none of us has to wait outside. First I went to the dog friendly Catto Gallery, while Mum and Dad looked at their favourite art I warmed myself by the fire, then outside I had my photo taken with Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt!
Down into the village Mum likes to go to Zana boutique in Flask Walk, where Zana herself made me very welcome: she is a real animal lover. Finally round to the cafe in the Hampstead Indoor Community Market for some cake, along with a pet rabbit who was visiting on the way from the vet’s surgery. The cafe owner (who makes great cakes) says I am his favourite dog client – and he is my favourite cake maker!!

New Dog at Kevin’s Local

Finally Mum and Dad took me to the pub last night, after my traumatic day. They were in such a rush after they both dragged themselves away from the laptops that they forgot to feed me first. When we arrived, they got me some crisp (chips) and a nice bowl of ice cubes. The little Jack Russell was there as well, and everyone was watching a football match on the TV. There were a lot of goals and every time the crowd roared, the Jack Russell barked loudly along with them. He was also dancing on two legs to beg for treats – that is a step too far. Then a new friend came in – Sammy, a handsome Samoyed, with his Dad, George. He is a large a white dog with a long and thick double coat, friendly and gentle. Mum and Dad made a huge fuss of him, cooing and saying how beautiful he was. I was quite jealous and I started barking to remind them I still needed my dinner.

I was Tagged

Scrappy tagged me so I have to write my resolutions.
The game is to list 5 New Year Resolutions
and then to tag 5 more dog Bloggers:
1. Drink more water – then I can mark out the whole of Muswell Hill as My Manor
2. Stop scavenging food from the street – as long as I get nice biscuit when I get home
3. Start chasing balls when hoomans throw them. They like it, and I might get more treats.
4. Stay on the pavement when we are walking along the streets. Mum says I will fall in front of a car one day when I strain to cross.
5. Wear my bandanas more often (and keep them 0n). We have lost loads of scarves, Mum will have to pin them for me. Also they look good in photos!

I have tagged Butchy and Snickers, Hana, Bear Bear the Rottweiler, Charlie and Pacco
I could not tag Loui as someone already got him!

New Year Party in Muswell Hill

Well I was a bit miffed cos Mum and Dad went to the Royal Oak without me for a New Year party – they said it was just too crowded for all the dogs to go along – but they promised to take me there next week. When they went out they gave me a bone, but I finished that and I found a packet of bagels that my auntie left on the floor! So i munched through a couple of those. Mum and Dad did not really mind cos they realise you should not leave food in sniffing distance of a bored dog.

Kevin the Collie Celebrity Spotting

Well this guy is not really such a big name, Mum says she has seen him in Muswell Hill many times. But yesterday and today we saw the actor who plays Billy Mitchell in Eastenders, walking a young black Labrador. Most dog walkers pass the time of day when they meet but this guy – weraing a baseball cap – seemed to be terrified of being recognised. Relax, mate – Eastenders actors are not really ‘A list celebrities’. Mum says we are going to start taking the camera out more often, so shall we see how much we can get from Hello Magazine for a shot of him?
