In addition, it will bring you extra money as you can undertake the business without hampering your own work. Keeping Cool

The weather has finally got really hot over here, which gives us the problem of how to keep cool when we are driving, and also when the car is parked. You have to be really careful if you are going to leave a dog in a parked car and Mum has bought all sorts of accessories to make sure the car does not overheat if she has to leave me there for a few minutes. First she ordered a sun visor which goes across the front windscreen. These help keep temperatures down inside the car, and they also protect against uv damage, which could fade the dashboard and leather seats. Second, we now have a gadget that fits inside the open rear window so that it can be left open but secure and nobody can get inside the car but plenty of fresh air can flow. With two of these on the back windows there is a good flow of air through the car, and we always park in the shade if I need to stay in the vehicle. Mum got all these things from http://www.corvetteguys.com/corvette-accessories.html – you know how she loves to shop online! Apparently by shopping from home she does not need to take me to the shops so much, and I get more time to lounge around in the house!

Dogs love their Dads

This week I have been to the railway station every night to meet Dad when he comes off the train. We usually stand on the opposite platform to see if we can spot him inside the carriage, then when everyone comes over the bridge Mum asks me if I can smell him yet. People seem to cheer up when they see me waiting, and then Dad gives me a big cuddle. Yesterday we walked back to the car and there was loads of noise and baning in a car parked next to us. Inside was an Airedale, as big as my dear departed friend Oscar. This dog had seen me or smelt me, and he was desperate to come out and say hello. His tails was baning aginst the windows as he wagged it fiercely. His owners were a bit po faced as they just got in and drove off with their LCD mount. Shame.

Itchy dog no more

I have one positive thing to report abut my health lately, as I have not had any of that awful itching that i usually get in the summer. We are not sure why this has happened, it could be because I have been drininking that special Willow Water, or maybe cos I have beef jerky for my treats. Who knows? My coat is thick and shiny with none of those bald patches that a dog gets when he scratches a lot. And the bis bonus – I do not have to wear tee shirts or body stockings to protect my skin this year.

New English Bulldog Puppy Here

Gracie, that flirty little English Bulldog across the road, is going to have puppies soon. Mum was talking to Gracie’s parents and they said that she was being put to stud with a dog that her breeders have found for her. Gracie is the dog who would not stop giving me butt sniffs when she came to visit, so they will have their hands full with her. They are hoping for eight puppies and Gracie’s Mum has to watch her closely when the pups are born to make sure she does not sit on them! Anyway that is what it says in the books.
