We were all out yesterday as it was such a sunny day. I went down to the riverside twice, once in the morning and once in the evening. My Nan also went down there and later Mum came back and spent the afternoon with me. She got a bit grumpy because the phone kept ringing. We don’t mind if there is someone we know on the line but lately we are receiving some very annoying automated calls offering us home insurance quotes.

This week we have been talking to my Nan about her holiday this year, she wants to go to France by train, which is a very dog friendly way to travel. I am not going with her (shame) as I have not got my pet passport arranged. She has been reading lots of books about the area and everyone is getting excited. She is also practising a few phrases so that she can make herself understood. Maybe she will come back with a new grandad for me?

Ooh it was windy today and I am still being a little fussy with my food. Mum and Dad went to the local kebab restaurant at the weekend and they brought me back ten lovely lamb bones, YUM. I get to chew a bone whenever I take my antibiotic tablet, which is quite tricky. I can smell whenever they try to slip it in to my usual foods and they are getting more and more devious in the ways they hide it. Hope they have term life insurance in case I bite their fingers off.

It is nearly a year since Mum’s middle niece was married and a month since the eldest one also tied the knot. They are not the biggest dog lovers – one of them owns a cat – but they do buy me a present at Christmas, so i guess that is OK. On their anniversary the first couple are going to stay in a Vegas hotel for a couple of nights. Hope they bring me back a Hot Dog.
