Here is the other photo of me when we went to Dad’s friend’s wedding. We encouraged some other guests to go and fetch their Golden retriever for the group photo, and I think we add a certain style to the event. If you look carefully you will see that Dad is wearing silver cufflinks, which he is also going to wear at the next wedding. I am still working on a plan for sneaking into the photos.

The last time I went to a wedding I managed to get myself included in two of the main photos. When Mum’s niece gets married after Christmas she has said I cannot go to the service, and she refused the suggestions that I could carry the wedding rings down the aisle on a little velvet cushion I can’t understand why, but I am still going to try to be included somehow.

We are not going away at Christmas, as we have a big wedding to attend on the 29th of this month. Mum is quite jealous of her friend who is travelling to the US on New year’s Eve. Apparently she is also going to see some Wilmington NC real estate at the same time so Mum – who has a kind of house addiction – is double jealous. At least she will get to spend time with little old me, I hope that makes up for the disappointment

Hee Hee I have an extra bed, cos my Nan decided she needed a spare bed for guests so she got one of those blow up mattress kits. And the best part of this is, that the mattress goes on the floor at the perfect height to be used as a very big luxury dog bed as well. Nan says that is not why she bought it, but I can have a little nap on there from time to time.

One of my favourite new friends at my Nan’s new home is the real estate agent who sold her the house. He is a very nice man – really! He always has time to say hello to me and he is quite happy for me to roll around on the carpet in their office, where all the ladies make a big fuss of me. They say it is a dog’s lif: does that mean a very happy life?

Sometimes people – that is, humans – have trouble saying no to things: for example, food, drink, or worse substances like drugs. Then they have to get help to get them back on to the right track, and sometimes they get sent to special drug rehabs where they can get help with diet and special therapy to help them recover. Some of these are located next to beautiful lakes and woodlands, so I suppose that helps.
