Dog bets

They have got the bug – no, not that kind of bug! My family have been gripped by the fascination of an online casino. Ever since Dad’s friend paid for a long haul holiday with some of his winnings, my Mum wanted to try and copy him. They are looking at all the sites that offer bonuses against their stake, so they can accumulate some practice money to start playing with.
I expect they are going to need it, but if they win there is a long lost of things that they can spend most of the winnings on – and they all relate to me. I will be needing money for my vets’ fees, a new bed, collar and lead, and maybe some new bandanas as well. Apparently some of these sites are very good, and the winnings they pay are enormous – thousands are paid every week. I think it is very good of my Mum and Dad to look for ways of getting more money to spend on their darling dog, but that is only right and proper, I guess.

When we went to London this weekend, my Mum said I could go for a nice long walk to the best dog park in the area as long as I was good and patient while she did some work in the garden. When we got back to the house she set about cutting the hedge and undergrowth back using her best set of box cutters.

At our new house we are going to be trying to set up house with a combination of personal tastes in many areas, including our choice of cabinet hardware. Dad had a triumph in this area recently when he fitted out his newly repainted front door and porch. But Mum said the success of the whole venture hung on her original choice of charcoal grey paint. They are so sweet when they argue!

So my Mum is almost at the end of selling the house where she brought me to live with her when she first rescued me from the dog home. We were very happy there together, and then we decided to move in with my Dad. After that we all started to think about living on the coast. Next week we will be moving the last stereo cabinet and sofa out of the old house, to help us start our new beach life together.

We are reaching the height of wedding fever, with preparations for Mum’s niece’s nuptials in full swing. She and her younger sister both have diamond rings and they she is looking for a matching wedding band. Seems simple enough to me, as they are plain enough. The most important things is – what am I wearing on teh big day? I have seen some great dog pageboy outfits!

Camera shy dog

Mum and Dad seem to spend a large part of their time taking photos of me. I refuse to have anything to do with it and make a point of never looking at the camera. Mum thinks it’s funny, dad thinks I am just being awkward. He is right. But he’s a sneaky one- he won’t give up. Not happy with the memory of his camera he’s now bought a new micro sd card so he can stalk me for hours taking photos. I still refuse to look at the camera. To be continued……….
