My Mum and my Nan do enjoy watching TV, but since my Nan moved she has had terrible problems with her old TV. It is a sort of flat screen one, and it is around three years old, but in TV terms it is already out of date, They have decided that a new TV is needed and it needs to be an HD ready lcd tv. We went to two different television shops to check out the models, but the men in the shops did not explain things very well, and I got very bored. So then they did what they usually do when there is a problem to solve: they checked online for some help. They found an independent site that tests all the LCD and Plasma TVs and recommends the best ones. There are expert reviews and reviews from users, so if you don’t want the technical stuff you can just hear what another viewer thinks. I just hope they get it sorted out soon, because watching TV keeps Mum away from my Laptop.

My Nan’s new house has all the things she likes, the previous owners made a lot of good Home improvements before they sold the house to us. They have had all the windows double glazed and the windows and doors do not need painting at all. Mum thinks this is really convenient - she does not like painting outside, and she says it costs a fortune to get people in to paint them. Nan likes the fact that they are not draughty like the old wooden ones. Dad says they look quite smart and he thinks they are very good quality, they were installed by one of the best companies.

Happy News today of a new puppy who is going to be adopted by Katy and Martin, who are Oscar’s Mummy and Daddy. You can read all about my dear friend Oscar, a blogging dog, who we lost last month. His Mum and Dad heard that one of their breeder’s other dogs was having puppies and they bravely decided to take one of them. Here is a picture of the puppies’ father, his Kennel Club name is Joval Jumpin Jack Flash at Jokyl - otherwise known as Jack. You probably read how upset we all were when my lovely doggie blogging friend Oscar the Airedale died recently. He was just a young pup and he got very ill suddenly, so his loss was a great shock and really tragic. His Mum and Dad heard from a lady who makes little felt models of Airedale terriers, and this is the photo of the one that she sent to Oscar’s Mum and Dad. It is a lovely way to remember a dog, I think.

You know the way that the stars get their hand prints in the concrete in Hollywood? Well, I have now been immortalised as well. Dad’s builders took up the front path on Friday and laid fresh concrete. As soon as I saw it I leapt down and left five doggy prints. Then on Saturday they laid a new step. This time Mum said she was keeping an eye on me, and she lifted me over the wet concrete. But the builder went out when she wasn’t looking, I followed him and left my prints on the step as well - looks good, I think.
