Very exciting news this week when Mum’s niece started work as an airline beautician. She flies round the world, looking after people’s hands with manicures and massages. She has met lots of new people and some of her clients told her about the operations they have booked at a Miami cosmetic surgery clinic. Apparently they find it cheaper to fly there for their op, and fly back a couple of weeks later. Maybe she will meet them on the return trip and see the difference.

I do not really understand why humans cannot drink water all the time, just like their dogs. I enjoy a good drink and I can get hold of drinking water almost anywhere. Mum likes drinking tea, and Dad is very particular about his coffee. He wants to get a new jura capresso machine when he moves house, he says it will look great and make the best coffee ever. Mum says she will stick to tea.

Mum has been busy again with her paint brushes and filler. She was not very happy when I walked right past here latest painted wall, and my whiskers turned white! What else am I supposed to do while I am waiting for her to finish? Once I see that she is cleaning everything up and taking the brushes to the tool storage I know I am about to get a nice walk – ruff!

One of Mum’s friends asked us the other day why she decided to work at home. Well, really she did not have much choice because when they adopted me from the dog rescue centre they soon realised how unhappy I was if I was left alone for any length of time. So I need to have someone around the house with me – Mum, Dad or Nan. They must be real animal lovers!

Mum has been talking to the local lettings agents as she wants to start getting much more involved in the property business.
