Hot weather can kill Dogs and Puppies and owners need to take special care. Obviously we are in most danger in cars, because dogs cannot cool down as easily or as quickly as humans. The risk is obvious in full sun, but the bottom line is – do not leave your pet alone in the car for any length of time. The sun moves round more quickly than we realise, and heat builds up fast in the car.
